Andy Sidhu first came out to Canada in September of 1974 and in 1976 started working for the Canada Farm Labour Pool a Federally funded program. He was the Assistant Manager for 21 years and in 1996 started publishing Abbotsford’s first bi-lingual newspaper (Punjabi & English) together with his wife Pritam who was up to then working with Abbotsford Developmental Pre-school. Both have been involved with most of the multicultural events that took place in Abbotsford over the years.
