Walter Paetkau
"For me, it is important to champion diversity in the work place and in the community. It is also important for me to champion diversity in the  home and in personal relationships. That is a challenge within our community that requires ongoing attention and encouragement."

Walter Paetkau was one of the founders of Abbotsford Community Services in the late 1960’s and its Executive Director to 2000 when he retired.  Since that time he has been President and Manager of Circle F Horse Rescue. In 2008, he received the Abbotsford Citizen of the Year Award.
